Making Hole look like virginal catholic school girls, stank slut rock band Snatch boldly went where not to many girls would go with their second 7” release on WorryBird Disk.

Hailing from Atlanta, these four teenage sex queens supplied many a horny little boy with plenty of masturbatory fantasy material. Seems like they were just asking for it.

Side 1, or as it is referred to on the record, lickside, is a total train wreak called “Sister Julia”. In the red guitar wah wah guitar from Julianne Richards (whom went on to move to New York and become a popular singer / songwriter. Go figure!) meshed with drummer Patter Eck-Byrne failing around like an over inebriated Keith Moon.

On the microphone, Christina Kelly comes off sounding like a female Darby Crash albeit a bit more comprehendible and bassist Annaconda definitely put a stranglehold on her neck. Palm reading, crystal balls, life lines, herbal psychic seem to be Sister Julia’s bag. She will kick you in the teeth and so will this song. Love it!

Side 2, or as it is referred to on the record as Backside, is a rocket plunge called “666”. “Lonely, messed up and horny as hell” is not just a lyric, but a summation of the song as well. Enticing a young boy with all sorts of super nasty sexual innuendo, Christina is an incubus that lures you, makes you hard and then spreads the rock and roll disease no shot will cure. Super raunchy, super punchy, and the scratchy vinyl adds flavor.

The “Backside” of this 7” is worth the price of admission as it sports a crazy fucked up drawing of some guy with a beanie, shooting his spunk while blasting his brains. Crazy shit. I have seen copies of this 7” available for purchase on line. Get yours and be cool.
