Guns guns shatter the lands-excerpt from “Guns on the Roof” by The Clash
Guns on the Roof named after the great Clash song are a perfect culmination of bands from the current era of radio friendly punk like Rancid and Green Day, combined with classic British punk bands like the previously mentioned -The Clash.
It would not be a far stretch to call them England’s answer to Rancid. Guns on the Roof understand that melody can make the difference between an average song and one that gives ya that Doc Marten to the side of the head.

The fact that the average age of the band is 18 makes no difference in the overall composition of the songs or message that they convey. They hardly come off as your average eighteen-year-old fuck wad. Therefore, anyone who says differently would probably get the wagging two fingers and a curled lip sod off.
These gents can play and take an old sound and inject it full of energy. Kind of like rehydrating a decaying corpses hand for forensic reasons; so that fingerprints can be obtained. Okay so I have watched one too many unsolved crime shows. Fucking sue me! Totally catchy sing along punk rock. Now, buy me a pint!
